About the Land:
The Mangold family, aptly named heirs of French Royalty, settled in this territory in the early 1700s bringing with them gold, silver and gemstones. To safeguard their riches, the Mangold men buried chests full of these treasures across their 1500 acre kingdom. The original Mangold settlers met their untimely demise in 1783 after a battle with bandits out for their loot. Dying with the original family members was also the knowledge of the buried treasures as the home with the map was set ablaze. Over the years, some treasure hunters and pickers have found bits and pieces of the gold, silver and precious gems but the majority of riches is said to have remain hidden under the soils of the land.
The entire estate is now being offered at public auction in these 15 tracts.
